Simple Scenario Overview

Applying FRAMES to an environmental contamination scenario will allow you to conceptualize the assessment scenario, capture the critical components of the scenario, and describe the relationship and linkages between those components. For example, the diagram below depicts a contaminated landfill that is leaking directly into the groundwater. That groundwater then migrates to a well, where it is withdrawn and consumed by a person.

The video will first choose the icons that represent the critical components of the scenario:

Then it will communicate the relationship and linkages between these components by drawing lines indicating the flow of information (i.e., tracking contaminant movement) through the environmental system.
