The FRAMES 2.0 API is divided into four parts:

• The DataSet API for reading and writing modeling results.
• The Error API for error handling.
• The Conversion API for maintaining a list of conversion factors.
• The System API for developing applications that manipulate the system as a whole.

The FRAMES 2.1 API is divided into five parts:

• The F2ModuleDev API for reading and writing modeling results.
• The F2DataSet API for reading and writing modeling results.
• The F2 Error API for error handling.
• The F2 Conversion API for maintaining a list of conversion factors.
• The F2 System API for developing applications that manipulate the system as a whole.
• The F2 Enumerate API for enumeration of handles.

The Addtional API's that benefit FRAMES API:

• The Testing new testing dll to standardize the testplan executation and description.
• The Auto It (Hidden Soft) HiddenSoft's AutoIt dll is used to drive user interfaces.
• The Auto It (Hidden Soft) HiddenSoft's AutoIt dll is used to drive user interfaces.

A module developer only needs to be familar with the F2ModuleDev API to work within FRAMES 2.1. There is some benefit to knowing the Error API and the Conversion API as well.
